of enrolment 2026

In-person classes in Coburg North and online classes

By enrolling in a course with My Language School, students agree to the following Terms & Conditions for 2026:

1. Enrolment and Course Participation

These Terms & Conditions apply to all students enrolled in My Language School courses in 2026, including:

  • In-person classes held in Coburg North
  • Online classes
  • Regular term courses
  • Intensive classes

By completing payment, students confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

2. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds are available for both regular courses and intensive classes provided that the student withdraws at least five days before the commencement of the course or intensive class. Students who withdraw within this period may choose one of the following:

  1. A full refund, less a 20% administration fee; or
  2. A credit note for the full amount paid, valid for six months from the date of issue.

Credit notes are non-refundable and cannot subsequently be exchanged for a cash refund.

No refunds will be issued once the five-day withdrawal period has passed.

No refunds will be issued after the commencement of the term or after the commencement of an intensive class.

Refunds are also not available for individual classes missed by a student.

3. Missed Classes and Make-Up Classes

If you are unable to attend a class, please speak to Simone as soon as possible.

Where possible, Simone may direct you to an additional make-up class during the same week or at a later time. Make-up classes will generally be arranged at a similar level, subject to availability. Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy and are not guaranteed in every circumstance.

4. Changing Classes During the Term

Students may request to change classes during the term. If you would like to move to a different class, please speak to Simone, who will advise you on the most suitable option based on your level, learning needs and class availability. A class change is subject to availability and cannot always be guaranteed.

5. Minimum Enrolment Requirements

My Language School may attempt to create new classes based on student interest and enrolments. A minimum of four students is required for a class to proceed. If the minimum enrolment requirement is not met, My Language School may need to cancel the class before the commencement of the term. In this situation, affected students will be notified as soon as possible and will be offered the opportunity to:

  • Transfer to another available class;
  • Receive a full refund; or
  • Receive a credit note for the full amount paid.

Where a class is cancelled by My Language School due to insufficient enrolments, the 20% administration fee does not apply to a full refund.

6. Changes to Class Times and Schedules

My Language School makes every effort to maintain the advertised class schedule. However, circumstances such as teacher availability may occasionally require a class to be rescheduled or changed to a different day or time. While such changes are unlikely, they may be necessary to ensure that classes can continue to operate. My Language School will communicate any significant schedule changes to affected students as soon as possible and will make every reasonable effort to minimise disruption.

7. Online Classes

The same enrolment, withdrawal, refund and credit-note conditions apply to online classes as to in-person classes. Students participating in online classes are responsible for having suitable internet access and the necessary device and software to participate in their class. Technical difficulties on the student’s side do not generally qualify for a refund or credit for a missed class.

8. Communication

Students are responsible for providing My Language School with accurate contact details and for checking communications relating to their course on the private section of the school website. My Language School will make reasonable efforts to notify students promptly of any changes affecting their course, including changes to class times, teachers or course availability.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in a course at My Language School and completing payment, students acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these 2026 Terms & Conditions of Enrolment.

My Language School reserves the right to make reasonable administrative changes where necessary to ensure the smooth operation of its courses, while making every reasonable effort to minimise any impact on students.
