Italian book club

This term’s book, “Resto qui” by Marco Balzano
Every term we pick a new book – what are Italians reading at the moment? What did they grow up reading? What’s high up on the Strega Book Prize list this year?
From week to week, all participants read (or listen to) about 10 pages, and together we discuss the storyline, the characters, the historical background, the author and their style, all in Italian during our weekly 1.5h sessions.
This is a time for participants to lead the discussion practicing all their language skills through natural conversation and honing their ability in turn-taking in a different language.
